THE END OF AN ERA for the PAC MX6 |

The trusty MX6 has done her fair share of work for the team and has been an ever faithful warrior, she has been an integral part of the development of the race team, but over the last few months it has become more apparent she cannot withstand the amount of power the boys are throwing at her. The team has now decided to put the MX6 back into retirement and will not be racing it at this competitive level again. They will now concentrate on building the new car so they can pick up where they left off nearly 12 months ago. Watch this space!!!!!

The 2012 Nitro Champs event always promises to be big…! and in 2012 it certainly lived up to its reputation with several racers taking full advantage of the perfect conditions. RotorMaster Pilot Jason Both took the RX7 to a new high running a PB of 7.06 @ 189 mph. Battling tyre shake in the first few runs, Jason cut a good light steering the RX7 to a solid performance with very little boost.

With the Winternationals not far away, and the 3rd round of racing for Factory Xtreme, it’s timely to reflect on the weekend that was at the Nitro Champs in Sydney. With the forecast for the weekend poised to go either way, the weather turned it on for Sydney with three glorious days of sunshine. Spirits were high among the FX competitors as they set up on the Friday, ready for the first round of qualifying action on the Saturday.

Great weather, world records and a field of over 170 entries made the 2012 Sydney Jamboree an event to remember for fans of this unique motoring spectacle. With the beautiful Sydney sky belting out our favourite shade of blue, the punters came in their droves to see what the day had to offer, both on and off the track, and they weren't disappointed.
